Why Choose Us for Tree & Stump Work

Trees near homes, driveways, septic systems, or hydro lines demand the right equipment and a careful plan. We combine arborist-guided removal methods with site-work experience, so the job is done safely, your property is protected, and the ground is left tidy and ready for its next use.

  • Hazard assessment and safe felling or sectional dismantling
  • Low-impact equipment and ground protection where needed
  • Full cleanup, wood/brush separation, and disposal options
  • Stump grinding with regrade and topsoil/seed on request

Our Process

1) Site Review

We identify hazards, utilities, septic beds, driveways, and structures. We mark fall zones and agree on access and cleanup.

2) Removal Plan

Directional felling where possible; sectional dismantling with rigging or crane where space is tight. Property protection first.

3) Stump Grinding

We grind to the agreed depth, remove grindings if requested, and can backfill with topsoil for seed or sod.

4) Cleanup & Hauling

Brush chipped, logs bucked to firewood or hauled, work area raked and magnet-swept where cutting hardware was used.

5) Optional Regrade

We can regrade depressions, top up with soil, and prep for grass or future hardscaping. No low spots left behind.

6) Final Walk-Through

We review the site with you, confirm cut lists and cleanup preferences, and line up any follow-on work (driveway, grading, etc.).

Right Equipment for Tight Sites

Mini excavators, track loaders, stump grinders, brush heads, and dump trailers let us work quickly with a small footprint. For confined areas, we use sectional rigging and controlled lowering to protect homes, decks, and utilities.

  • Precision rigging & directional felling
  • Ground protection mats where needed
  • Low-impact cleanup with track machines
  • Efficient hauling & disposal

Tree Removal & Stump Grinding — FAQs

Do I need a permit to remove a tree?

Sometimes. Rules vary by municipality and conservation authority. Size, species, and location matter—especially near water or in designated woodlands. We’ll check your address and advise.

How deep do you grind stumps?

Standard is 6–10″ below grade for lawn areas. For driveways, patios, or new planting beds we can grind deeper on request.

What happens to the grindings and brush?

Grindings can be left in place, spread, or removed. Brush is chipped; logs can be bucked for firewood or hauled away. You decide.

Can you remove roots that are lifting my driveway or sidewalk?

We can grind surface roots where practical and regrade the area. For hardscape repairs, we can coordinate base prep and compaction.

How fast can the work be completed?

Most single-tree jobs are done in half a day to one day. Multiple trees with grinding and haul-away may take 1–3 days depending on access.
