Georgian Bay Siteworks is the natural extension of our life\u2019s work. For more than 45 years our family has built custom homes across the Georgian Bay region under ICFHome.ca \u2014 and the site work that makes those homes possible is what we do here.
For more than 45 years, our family has been building custom homes across the Georgian Bay region under ICFHome.ca. Most of those homes were built in the countryside \u2014 on raw, wooded lots that had to be cleared, levelled, graded and prepared before a single footing could be poured.
Over the decades we realized something simple but important: the quality of a build depends heavily on the quality of the site work beneath it. So instead of relying on outside contractors with varying standards, we invested in doing it ourselves \u2014 properly, carefully, and with a builder\u2019s foresight. What started as a necessity became a specialty, and Georgian Bay Siteworks was formed to offer that same builder-quality land preparation to homeowners, cottage owners and new-construction clients across the region.
A builder\u2019s mindset on every site
We aren\u2019t just running machines \u2014 we are thinking about the house, the driveway, the septic and the drainage that come after us. Every grade line, every trench and every load of fill is placed with the finished build in mind. We stand behind our work because our name is on it.
Everything done in-house
We own and run our own fleet \u2014 excavators, skid steers, dump trailers, a stump grinder and a portable sawmill \u2014 so we are not waiting on subcontractors and not rushing jobs to fit someone else\u2019s schedule. One crew, one standard, from the first tree down to the final graded lot. The portable sawmill even lets us turn the good logs off your own land into usable lumber rather than hauling them away.

When a site leaves our hands it is genuinely ready to build on. That means:
Proper elevation planning
The site set to the right elevations for the build and the lot.
Correct drainage slope
Ground shaped so water moves away from the build, not toward it.
Clean trenching & services
Footings, water, septic and utility trenches placed to line and grade.
A stable, compacted base
Driveway approach and building pad compacted and ready for construction.
